Recognising that Persons with disabilities are among the poorest and most vulnerable of the poor the SERP has initiated Disability interventions as a seperate Inclusive Development for Persons with Disability Unit in all the mandals of state are covered. 48916 PwDs are organised in to 7078 exclusive PwD SHGs by forming 353 MVSs and 9 Zilla Vikalangula Samakhyas (as on 31st March 2021) in Telangana State with an Objective that the to evolve a model of institutional relationship between Community Based Organizations (CBOs) of Persons with Disabilities and various government and Non-government stakeholders and make them as resource mandals to support the persons with disability (PwDs) by building their capacities to improve life skills and self esteem. more...
Vision
Persons with Disabilities are organized at Village, Mandal and District level as Community Based Organisations(CBOs),, and access services from financial institutions, women federations and other institutions for improving the quality of their life.
Mission
SERP has adopting a participatory development approach to support the persons with disability (PwDs) by building their capacities to improve life skills and self esteem, SERP has extending the support to enhance their livelihoods by creating accessibility to finance and in availing government benefits/entitlements, Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation Services are providing through community managed interventions.
